Cybersecurity Analyst - enterprise systems : Job Details

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at EnterSys, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and maintain a robust security posture.

• Threat Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor network traffic and system activities to identify potential security incidents. Analyze alerts and logs to detect anomalies and unauthorized access attempts.

• Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.

• Security Implementations: Assist in the deployment and configuration of security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.

• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.

• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, system vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts.

• Security Awareness: Educate and train staff on security best practices and emerging threats to foster a security-conscious organizational culture.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a cybersecurity role, with hands-on experience in threat detection, incident response, and security tool management.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in network protocols, firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions. Familiarity with SIEM tools and scripting languages is a plus.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to analyze complex security issues.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
