Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support modernization efforts on-site at our lab facility in Augusta, GA.
The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure, managing lab-issued equipment, tracking Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, ensuring data compliance, and coordinating vulnerability scans. This role is critical for maintaining the ATO status of various systems and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
This role is contingent upon award and part of a surge support effort, intended for the augmentation of existing personnel in response to increased mission demand. Work is anticipated for October 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Analyst will construct, organize, script, modify, maintain, and populate the Customer Database and any other data bases as directed
Maintain and manage lab-issued equipment to ensure optimal performance
Attend weekly IPT and Cyber IPT meetings with NetMod and Mission Networks Government ISM, ISSO, and Assistant ISSO, providing cybersecurity insights and updates on ATO status and cybersecurity posture
Communicate identified cybersecurity concerns weekly to the Lead Cybersecurity Analyst and Lead Developer for risk assessment and remediation strategies
Ensure compliance with data compilation standards, following prescribed naming conventions
Continuously monitor and address out-of-cycle Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations, system compliance updates, and potential DoD/NSA zero-day vulnerabilities
Manage and update individual Standalone Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) laptops to meet quarterly compliance requirements
Ensure proper setup and maintenance of ACAS, utilizing updated versions of Security Center and Nessus as required
Compile and archive required Information Assurance (IA) artifacts for respective systems
Coordinate with Product Leads (PL) to gain system access for vulnerability scans and STIG assessments
Ensure system security configurations are restored to approved security-compliant states following changes
Compile and provide quarterly data and artifacts to support ATO maintenance and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions
Follow the quarterly artifact collection process:
Pre-Scans: Gather baseline data from previous quarters for upcoming scans
Security Modules: Assist in integrating security modules developed by software engineers
Post-Scans: Collect and analyze data following successful security module implementation
STIG Updates: Update STIG checklists and address previous findings
Vulnerability Scans (Pre/Post): Conduct scans, analyze data, and generate required reports (. ASR and .CSV) following prescribed naming conventions
STIG Viewer: Utilize the latest STIG Viewer version and execute STIG assessments for respective systems
Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP): Ensure the use of the latest SCAP tool version, import new SCAP content when available, and integrate. XCCDF files into STIG Viewer

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
Proficiency in cybersecurity tools such as ACAS, Security Center, Nessus, STIG Viewer, and SCAP
Strong networking background with an understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching
Experience in system administration across multiple operating systems (Windows 10/11, Linux, VMware, Unix)
Basic proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as PowerShell, AWS, and Python
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Certifications
Cybersecurity Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CASP+, CySA+, Security+ CE
Networking Certifications: CCNA, CCNP
Computing Environment Certifications: MCITP, MCSA/MCSE, AZ-900

The projected compensation range for this position is $85000 to $135000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
