The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The work is performed on-site at our customer site in Huntsville, AL. Work schedule - Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 w/every other Friday off - or a straight 5/8. QualificationsQualified candidates MUST have: • US citizenship • An active DoD Security Clearance • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a STEM field • 2+ Years of Experience with Systems Administration for Linux Operating Systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) • DOD 8570 IAT Levell II Certification (ex: Security+ CE) Desired Qualifications: • Experience with Cisco Networks with a focus on Network configuration • Experience with RHEL, Red Hat Satellite servers and configuration • Experience with VMWare ESXi, VMWare vCenter • Experience with LAN and WAN management • Ansible Experience • Familiarity with Network Technologies and Cybersecurity • Experience with scripting using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc. • Experience with network administration and related infrastructure • Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades
