Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures and solutions.
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and minimize risks.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor security systems, responding to incidents swiftly and effectively.
  • Stay informed about the latest threats and trends in cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security practices within all business operations.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network or cyber engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Proficient in network security, systems security, application security, and data protection.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and SIEM.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH.
  • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
