• Develop, maintain, and audit IT security policies, procedures, and documentation to meet rigorous DoD standards.
• Perform comprehensive security monitoring, risk mitigation, and threat analysis - from cloud security to incident response.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure systems handling classified information are secure and up to date.
• Advise project managers and engineering teams on security best practices throughout the lifecycle of new and existing systems.
• Act as a critical member of the Incident Response Team, addressing security threats and implementing effective remediation.
• Design, build, and maintain secure cloud environments across multiple providers, staying ahead of evolving threats.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive cyber security experience
• 3+ years of Splunk Administration experience
• Deep knowledge of security components (topology, switches, routers, firewalls)
• Practical experience with threat analysis, mitigation, and investigation
• DoD 8570 Certification highly desired
• Must be eligible for DoD Personnel Security Clearance and special access requirements
