Cutter Machine Operator - NY Staffing : Job Details

Location: Rochester, NY

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Position Type: Temporary, with potential for long-term or temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs

We are seeking a Cutter Machine Operator to support the printing production team on A Shift. This role involves operating a rotary die cut machine to accurately trim printed materials to specification. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and is open to growing within the role.

• Operate cutting machines (e.g., rotary die cutters, guillotines) to trim printed materials
• Inspect materials for alignment, measurement accuracy, and quality
• Set up cutting programs according to job specifications
• Monitor machines and address minor issues during production
• Maintain clean and organized work area and equipment
• Support at least three additional production functions: collation, labeling, verifying, binning, QC, or shipping
• Meet production timelines and customer delivery expectations (SLAs)
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
• Assist supervisors and team leads as needed
• Be available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required

• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred (training available)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take accurate measurements
• Ability to read and follow production specs and job orders
• Willingness to learn and assist in various production areas
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, and bend frequently throughout the shift
