Start: immediately in Chicago/Rosemont, IL / United StatesPermanent position, Full-timeAs a Customer / Trade Marketing Manager, you will execute retail and marketing strategies focused on your assigned retail accounts and/or retail channels nationwide. Partnering with internal Marketing and Sales teams, this person will drive sales plans around the 4Ps - Product, Price, Placement, and Promotion and AMPS metrics (assortment, merchandising, promotion and shelving) in the brick and mortar retail marketplace.As a member of our Trade Marketing team, this role will help lead the development of high quality and fact-based Selling Stories and Ready To Sell (RTS) materials that support our field Sales leaders. As a Customer / Trade Marketing Manager, you will assist in the planning, development, and presentation of sales and brand materials at key meetings and industry specific trade shows for various channels of trade including Grocery, Mass, Convenience, Value, Drug, and specialty retail channels.Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois, this role offers the opportunity work cross-functionally with internal headquarters teams. It can be a great opportunity for a CPG sales professional to gain corporate HQ experience.To join our team of Channel Marketing Managers, the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry with experience in Trade marketing, an understanding of industry data such as IRI, Circana, or Nielsen data, and a Bachelor's Degree, and a strong understanding of AMPS metrics (assortment, merchandising, promotion and shelving). The ideal candidate will also have experience working direclty for the brand .Responsibilities

  • Drive sales plans around the 4Ps - Product, Price, Placement, and Promotion in the brick and mortar retail marketplace
  • AMPS metrics (assortment, merchandising, promotion and shelving)
  • Execute retail marketing strategies
  • Assist in the planning, development, and presentation of Sales and marketing materials at key meetings and industry specific trade shows for various channels of trade including Grocery, Mass, Convenience, Value, Drug, and specialty retail channels
  • Lead the development of high quality, fact-based Selling Stories and Ready To Sell ( RTS ) materials that support our Sales and Business Development teams
  • Utilize industry specific data such as IRI, Circana, Nielsen, or other related forms of syndicated data used in the CPG industry
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods ( CPG ) industry
  • 2+ years of experience working directly for the “brand”
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or other field
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing IRI, Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, SPINS, or other forms of syndicated data in the consumer goods industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working directly for the Brand
  • Prior experience in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing (customer as in retailers, not consumers), or Channel Marketing experience specifically within the CPG industry
  • Experience with multiple channels of trade -- Grocery, Mass, C-Store, Value, etc
  • Prior experience in a field Sales and/or Business Development role
CompensationTarget Hiring Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annuallyThis pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting.
