Our Customer Services Specialist (CON) start off earning between $12.81 to $ 27.79 per hour. With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at $57,798 per year . Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

GENERAL DUTIES
A Customer Services Specialist (CON) performs work associated with splicing and maintaining outside plant facilities and equipment. May perform all duties of the Communication Technician - Construction Function. Duties may also include but are not limited to the following:
telephone plants and associated wiring and cable, including poles.
with numerous hand tools in the installation and maintenance of outside plant
facilities.
makes up daily time and material reports.
hydraulic aerial lifts, or other mechanical equipment, various test equipment and
measuring devices in connection with maintaining communications facilities.
sheath and filling compound from buried type cable.
specifications, color code and/or by means of test set.
Performs some repair and maintenance functions on outside plant cable facilities.
Reviews and analyzes complex schematic drawings to determine the work to be
done and assure the proper sequencing of tasks.

Performs all other duties comparable to the above as assigned.
Uses and/or wears appropriate safety equipment and follows established safety
practices and procedures.
Our Customer Services Specialist (CON) technicians must have the following:
Valid state driver's license
Non-negligent driving record
Meet 275 lbs. weight limit due to safety restrictions
Ability to pass a Department of Transportation Physical
Ability to perceive differences in wire and cable colors
Ability to lift and move up to 100lbs
