Customer Service Supervisor

Position Title: Customer Service Supervisor Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

Major Function:

  • Manage customer service representatives.
  • Maintain customer service and sales procedures and policies.
  • Oversee all areas of customer service, from prompt phone coverage to order completion.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate customer service schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct annual reviews for customer service representatives.
  • Produce customer acknowledgments, confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices.
  • Expedite customer orders.
  • Consult with engineers.
  • Handle customer concerns.
  • Interface with internal and external personnel.
  • Develop and maintain an effective organization through recruiting, selecting, training, compensating, and professionally developing all subordinate personnel.
  • Develop and maintain a strategy for sound employee relations and communication with subordinate personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Monitor employee performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Training:

  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing, or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
