As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting both retail and wholesale customers by addressing their needs, answering their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and providing tailored recommendations. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service will contribute to achieving sales goals while ensuring top-notch client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will also involve maintaining product knowledge, resolving customer issues promptly, and upholding the visual and quality standards of the store. You will engage with customers directly, managing transactions and supporting inventory processes to create a seamless shopping experience.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at stores within a 5-10 mile radius of store #3777, located at: 608 2nd St. Pike, Southampton, NJ 18966.

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
    • Assist customers both in-person and over the phone by identifying needs and presenting suitable products and services.
    • Build trustworthy relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
    • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
    • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
    • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
    • Retrieve products from sales floors or warehouses as required.
    • Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
    • Restock shelves and set up product displays.
    • Clean store equipment and assist in warehouse operations.
    • Maintain an organized and presentable work environment.
    • Stay knowledgeable about available products and provide customers with information on options.
    • Follow inventory control procedures and suggest sales improvement strategies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
    • Be legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship.
    • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
    • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
    • Ability to retrieve materials and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
    • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED.
    • One (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
    • Previous experience selling paint and related products.
    • Experience with tinting and mixing equipment.
