Customer Service Specialist - Sherwin-Williams : Job Details

As a Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a key role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers by identifying their needs and offering tailored solutions with our quality products. Your mission is to ensure customer satisfaction while helping the store achieve its sales goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional sales service to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Assisting customers in-person and over the phone to present suitable products and services.
• Building strong, trustful relationships with a diverse range of customers.
• Accurately processing sales transactions following company policies.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas.
• Handling product selection from sales floor or warehouse and preparing items as per customer requirements.
• Ensuring store displays are attractive and shelves are well-stocked.
• Cleaning store equipment and maintaining product quality.
• Assisting with deliveries when necessary and unloading delivery trucks.
• Keeping the assigned areas organized and visually appealing.
• Staying knowledgeable about our products and discussing available options with customers.
• Complying with inventory control procedures.
• Proactively suggesting ways to boost sales.

Minimum qualifications include:

• A minimum age of eighteen (18) years.
• Legal authorization to work without sponsorship.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• A valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends.

Preferred qualifications include:

• A High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or a customer service role.
• Experience in selling paint and related products.
• Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
