**Customer Service Representative Tier 1**

Supervisor, OERF Senior Specialist, OERF

**Job Summary:**

The Customer Service Representative, Tier 1 is responsible for support data input and document control, order entry and fulfillment as well as logistics support.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Gathers data for quotes, including, freight rates, dimensions, pallet count, etc.

* Schedules shipments and creates shipping documentation, including Bill of Materials

* Works closely with Shipping and Receiving to effectively coordinate order shipment and paperwork

* Enters new orders into the BioSpectra ERP system

* Provides order status updates to internal and external customers

* Creates reports related to orders and order status.

* Maintains and updates information in current ERP system regarding new and existing orders and entry of data updates

* Follows up with customers who have ordered samples

* Works toward increasing knowledge and understanding of such things as international shipments, chemical properties and use of our products, and the BioSpectra business model

* Keeps direct manager informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports

* Assists production planner, inventory control and raw material purchasing, as needed

* Other duties may be assigned, as deemed appropriate by management

**Qualifications:**

* Excellent customer service and client management skills

* Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

* Good working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

* Ability to learn chemical properties and how BioSpectras products are used

**Physical Requirements:**

* Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs

**Work Hours:**

* Non-Exempt Position

* Minimum of 8 Hour Shift, 5 Days a Week, or other agreed upon documented schedule

* Ability and willingness to work from all BioSpectra facilities
