Job Description :
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Performs the duties of a Customer Service representative: opens new accounts, monitors check orders, and cross-sells all accounts offered by the bank, assists customers with IRAs and IRA questions and with account inquiries, complies with CIP. Uses Deposit Horizons daily.
  • Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller: cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments; processes change orders; accepts safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks; completes CTRs as needed; takes check orders; takes stop payments and assists customers with safe deposit box. Scans work.
  • Balances teller totals and cash items as needed.
  • Works the weekly Bad Address Report.
  • Opens Card Machine on a daily basis, adds cards, and balances cards at the end of the day.
  • Assists customers with Safety Deposit Box entry, rental, surrender and other needs.
  • Answers phone and assists customer with accounts.
  • Seeks expanded deposit and loan relationships with customers and sets referral goals
  • Assists with branch opening/closing procedures.
  • Rotates as vault teller and works drive-in window as needed.
  • Goes to post office and courthouse daily as requested
  • Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
  • Balances and verifies ATM money.
  • Has helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
  • Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
  • Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
  • Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    Preferred Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Tact and public relations expertise
    • Ability to work well with others
    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
