The purpose of this position is to interact with internal and external customers to provide information in response to inquiries about accounts, orders, products, and services.

The key responsibilities include:

• Communicating with customers by phone or in person and receiving orders.
• Performing order entry by keying purchase information into the computer program.
• Handling and resolving customer complaints and billing issues.
• Acting as a liaison between customers, sales group, and manufacturing facility.
• Assisting customers with the pricing of standard materials.
• May solicit sales of new or additional products.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The qualifications and skill requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED, with 2 years as a Customer Service Representative preferably in the manufacturing, glass, glazing or architectural building materials industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Be vigilant about safety.
• Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence.
