Your Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at John Deere's Product Support Contact Center located in Johnston, IA , you will:

  • Provide e-commerce support to customers, dealers, and company personnel on shop.deere.com website for parts, merchandise, and home/workshop products.

  • Work in a high-volume contact center environment

  • Utilize multiple support channels including phone, email, and cases while effectively documenting each interaction within our case management system

  • Assist with escalated support issues

  • Mentor less experienced agents

What Skills You Need

  • Experience with customer service/support in e-commerce or a similar field

  • Experience with interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution

  • High comfort level and experience with consumer software applications

  • Strong computer and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

What Makes You Standout

  • Knowledge of various John Deere machines and equipment

  • Professional experience with e-commerce products

  • Prior work experience in agriculture or technology dealer channels

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering related field or IT or equivalent related work experience
