In this role, you will be the first point of contact for passengers, providing information, managing lines, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience. - Provide exceptional customer service and support for daily shuttle operations.
- Assist passengers with route directions, information, and line management to ensure efficiency.
- Proactively identify and report any service or station concerns to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
- Positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and professional, especially during long shifts or stressful situations.
- Proficiency in using a cell phone or two-way radio for clear communication.
- Willingness and ability to learn new software, such as a ridership application and tracking system.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Ability to work a full twelve (12) hour shift.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Requires frequent physical activity, including stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull, including assisting passengers in wheelchairs.
