A Customer Support Representative (CSR)/Teller Support Specialist is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience on the banking floor and teller line. This role involves moving between the customer service desk and teller line as needed, maintaining security of customer information, prioritizing tasks, and working well under workplace stressors such as customer complaints. The ideal candidate will be a team player.

  • Provide quality customer service and a positive banking experience by handling financial transactions (e.g., opening accounts, cashing checks) professionally on the teller line and platform.
  • Identify customer needs, explain and promote products and services.
  • Telephone customers to schedule appointments and promote products.
  • Participate in branch prospecting efforts.
  • Assist customers with requests such as stop payments, wire transfers, balance discrepancies, and loan information.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and operational areas.
  • Conduct transactions accurately and balance cash daily within guidelines.
  • Understand and follow established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain focus and attention to detail.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls, meeting job-specific requirements timely.
  • Hours: 40 hours/week

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, speaking, hearing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and focus.
