Customer Service Representative - Sterling Engineering : Job Details

Job DescriptionTitle: Customer Service RepresentativeLocation:Benicia, CA 94510Hire Type: 6+ months contract with full benefits!Pay: $25-$35/hr. Benefits: As a contract employee of Sterling, you are eligible to receive a Full Employee Benefits Package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, 3 medical plans to choose from, dental & vision plans, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan.Job Duties:

• Respond to customer inquiries (pricing, parts availability, order status, expedite requests, etc.) for a sales team
• Process orders, quotations, and change orders quickly and accurately
• Negotiate terms with customers (lead-times, delivery, payment) to establish win-win agreements
• Resolve Accounts Receivable issues, including applying credits and discounts

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with engineered products and manufacturing processes is preferred
