What you will do:

  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.

  • Responsible for staging, shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Stocks the supply house with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
  • Deliver parts to customer locations or job sites.
  • Practices safe material handling techniques, regularly using pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, material carts, and rolling ladders.
  • Filing of M/S's, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
  • Receives, inspects, and stocks products.
  • Keep warehouse area and parking lot area clean and orderly/neat.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

What you will bring:

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to qualify for the Companys fleet insurance and maintain a satisfactory driving record with good driving record with no to very minimal traffic violations.
  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
  • Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
  • Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
  • Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
  • Load and unload Supply deliveries.
  • Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
  • Read maps to determine routes.
  • Must be able to receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.
  • Safely drive and skillfully operate the Supply delivery truck to destinations.
  • Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and reports any discrepancies indicating truck condition to supervisor.

Key Competencies: The position requires good eyesight, hearing and physical condition. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to routinely perform a number of heavy physical tasks. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and effectively communicate with others. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. The employee must be able to regularly push and pull loaded pallet jacks and material carts with 1,000+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation: Base Pay Range: $23 an hour and up. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
