We are seeking a professional Customer Service/Billing Specialist in Decatur, IL. This is a full time, temporary to hire, 100% onsite position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of general customer service experience and excellent attention to detail.
Job Description:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers
- Maintain and update inventory
- Conduct inventory counts
- Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders
- Manage repair shipments, act as liaison between customers and service/repair teams
- Ensure timely repair turnaround and return shipments
- Keep the front office clean and organized for visitors
- Support billing and invoicing tasks
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and respond to emails
- Provide updates on timelines, equipment stock, shipments, order tracking, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong experience with MS Office Suites (including Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professionalism and high attention to detail
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
- 100% onsite
Compensation:
- $17 - $20 hourly, based on experience
