Job Summary Our client is seeking a Customer Relations Representative who will conduct daily interactions in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values. The role involves modeling a positive organizational attitude and effectiveness. Responsibilities include patient-related activities such as scheduling, check-in, checkout, follow-up activities, and acting as a liaison among physicians, patients, facilities, and insurance companies. Additionally, the role requires handling collections at checkout and maintaining strict confidentiality regarding patient information, while meeting all compliance standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient scheduling, check-in, checkout, and follow-up activities.
  • Act as a liaison between physician, patient, facility, and insurance company.
  • Handle collections of monies from patients at the time of checkout.
  • Observe strict confidentiality dealing with patients and their information.
  • Meet all compliance standards.
Qualifications
  • Require computer, keyboard, and data input skills.
  • Require a pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Require skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Require demonstrated initiative and self-direction.
  • Require ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining proficiency and efficiency.
  • Require dependability and reliability.
Experience
  • Prefer a minimum of one year of experience in a physician office.
Skills
  • Knowledge of EHR/EMR is preferred.
  • Skills in all Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) are preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of third party payers is preferred.
Education
  • HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate is mandatory.
  • Some college or vocational training is preferred.
