A client of ours in the automotive manufacturing industry located in Georgetown, Kentucky is seeking a Quality Customer Specialist to join their team. This role is pivotal in championing customer support and implementing new processes to elevate internal quality. Responsibilities include ensuring robust compliance, improving overall product/service quality, and providing essential support to the Manager of Quality. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package. salary: $60,000 - $68,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: AssociateResponsibilities Establish and execute robust testing procedures for returned parts, in-house systems, and vendor-supplied components to ensure peak performance and reliability. Verify that current product quality specifications consistently meet client requirements, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to standards. Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Control (QC) processes to guarantee the safety and quality of all repair operations. Direct the creation and review of operating procedures to ensure they are clear, efficient, and fully compliant with quality standards. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous process improvements for parts repair and inventory operations. Collaborate closely with production management to continuously monitor production processes and implement necessary modifications for optimal quality and efficiency. Support the design, execution, and maintenance of quality system processes across all relevant departments. Assist departments in coordinating training for new system implementations or changes to operating procedures. Oversee the testing and repair of all incoming and outgoing systems, ensuring functionality and quality before deployment. Develop and refine procedures for effective vendor parts management and optimized inventory levels. Establish and uphold high-quality standards to enhance the overall quality of systems and parts within inventory.
