Our team is remote first, with opportunities for occasional in-person collaboration. We have a slight preference for SF / SEA / NYC, but we're flexible on location—our top priority is finding the perfect fit.

Customer Engineer

We're looking for a Customer Engineer to join our team and own the full customer lifecycle—from late-stage pre-sales through implementation and long-term success. You'll be the connective tissue between our customers and internal teams, partnering closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product to ensure our enterprise customers are successful, expanding, and driving measurable value.

This is a cross-functional, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is deeply customer-obsessed, and loves building from scratch. You'll be helping shape the company's customer experience, enterprise motion, and core product alongside the leadership team.

  • Own relationships with enterprise customers starting in late-stage sales through onboarding, implementation, and ongoing success
  • Lead implementation and onboarding, ensuring customers derive fast time-to-value and long-term retention
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering team to:
  • Co-design features based on real customer use cases
  • Write and test prompt logic to support customer workflows
  • Translate feedback into roadmap decisions and product priorities
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to define their AI roadmap and ensure our product supports strategic goals
  • Drive account expansion by identifying additional use cases, departments, or business units for growth
  • Be the internal voice of the customer—sharing insights with Sales, Product, and Leadership
  • Help build the foundation: onboarding guides, playbooks, internal systems, and more
Required Skills
  • 3–7+ years of experience in customer success, solutions consulting, or implementation at a B2B SaaS company serving enterprise clients
  • Experience working with technical products, ideally in AI/ML, developer tools, data platforms, or infrastructure
  • Comfortable collaborating with engineers and product managers, and speaking to both technical and business audiences
  • Skilled at writing and validating prompt logic or similar AI workflows
  • Proven ability to lead executive conversations and navigate complex customer organizations
  • Startup-minded: bias for action, excited to build, and thrive in ambiguity
  • Excellent communicator—clear, empathetic, and persuasive
Compensation

Competitive salary and equity according to leveling assessment, calibrated to Tier-1 U.S. market data.
