Join our team as a Customer Banking Associate, where you will deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. In this role, you will identify customer needs and guide them toward the best financial solutions. Collaborate with branch partners to enhance customer relationships and ensure an outstanding banking experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify referral opportunities to grow customer relationships beyond personal banking.
  • Welcome and guide customers in our branch, providing insights on digital and self-service options to enhance their banking experience.
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations about our banking services and suggest alternate banking channels.
  • Efficiently meet customer transaction needs.
  • Review customer profiles to identify opportunities and discuss everyday banking needs.
  • Support branch business objectives and enhance customer experience.
  • Assist with operational activities such as inventory management and follow-up on customer applications.
  • Contribute to team efforts in various branch environments.
  • Utilize promotional strategies in customer interactions to provide targeted advice.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in work organization.
  • Enhance customer experiences through creative solutions.
  • Identify ways to improve customer service continually.
  • Work flexible hours across multiple branches as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with risk processes and safeguard customer privacy.
  • Stay informed about financial services and regulatory compliance.
  • Recognize and report suspicious activities related to money laundering.
  • Handle a variety of tasks while analyzing issues and determining appropriate steps.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service or sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • If in Canada, registration to sell investment products should be completed within 12 months.
  • Familiarity with social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
  • Experience in consultative customer service, focusing on personal customer interactions.
  • Basic knowledge of sales and business banking solutions.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence.
  • High drive to provide personalized customer experiences.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a team-oriented approach.
  • Self-starter with confidence in customer engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
  • Good listening and problem-solving skills, adaptable to challenges.

Salary: $41,714.00 - $50,500.00

Pay Type: Salaried

Your salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Total compensation may also include performance-based incentives, bonuses, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings plans.
