THE PURPOSE: The Customer Analyst provides actionable insights, audience segmentation, and performance reporting to optimize lifecycle and retention marketing efforts. This role works cross-functionally to enhance customer engagement, improve retention, and drive revenue growth. THE ROLE (what you are accountable for) • Developing and managing audience segmentation strategies to enable personalized lifecycle marketing across channels. • Analyzing customer data and creating actionable insights to inform marketing strategies. • Owning lifecycle marketing performance reporting, including key KPIs like retention, activation, reactivation, and CLV. • Collaborating with lifecycle and channel marketing teams to optimize targeting and messaging. • Leveraging Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and analytics tools to build detailed customer profiles with actionable benchmarks. • Providing data-driven recommendations for lifecycle automation and customer journeys.YOU ARE• A data-driven marketer who translates analytics into customer-focused strategies. • Excited to partner cross-functionally, ensuring insights fuel smarter lifecycle and retention campaigns. • Detail-oriented and results-driven, always optimizing based on data trends. • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, balancing strategic projects with day-to-day execution. • Passionate about customer behavior, segmentation, and engagement metrics.REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE • 5-7 years of experience in marketing analytics, customer insights, or lifecycle marketing data analysis. • Proficiency with analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics for campaign reporting. • Experience developing audience segmentation strategies and optimizing retention marketing programs. • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle metrics, including retention rate, churn, and CLV. • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and CRM tools (e.g., Listrak, Attentive, Braze, Klaviyo). • Ability to provide strategic insights based on customer data to improve marketing effectiveness. • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and analytics teams. • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Advanced SQL or Python skills for in-depth data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience implementing predictive modeling and machine learning for customer segmentation.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) into retention marketing strategies.
  • Experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses with a focus on retention and CLV growth.
  • Knowledge of attribution modeling and campaign ROI optimization strategies.
  • Certifications in marketing analytics, Google Data Analytics, or Tableau are a plus
