Customer Account Specialist Dover Chemical Corporation, Ohio site, 3676 Davis Rd NW, Dover OH, 44622 is looking for an experienced Customer Account Specialist to join our team. The Customer Account Specialist position involves projecting a professional company image through frequent phone and email communication with customers, handling order entry, checking inventory, and providing delivery timelines for bulk and drum orders. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate customer records, following up on shipments, updating order details such as dates, quantities, and pricing, and responding to inquiries about product availability, pricing, and samples. The role also requires daily coordination with internal sales, shipping, production, and accounting teams, transferring calls, and assisting with emails. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and willingness to support co-workers are key to success in this role. REQUIREMENTS: • Prefer an associate's degree with 1-2 years of customer service experience. • Possess a pleasant and professional voice tone, be able to listen carefully and remain calm when under stressful situations. • Take inquiry calls from customers or clients electronically, or via telephone and respond to the customer promptly regarding products and services. • Computer skills are a must with knowledge of word, excel and power point, plus familiarity with MSDS software system. • Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, • Must be well organized, can multi-task, with a high degree of accuracy, and be a team player. • Must have high energy, enthusiasm, adaptability, and resilience. • Self-confident, ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner that maintains trust and respect. • Ability to work general business hours between 7am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Some weekend work may be required when problems occur or when deadlines must be met. • Minimal travel is required.
