Custodian - The Salvation Army Eastern Territory : Job Details

Function: The primary function of the Custodian is to provide janitorial services to the facility, both indoors and outdoors, as required for the efficient and effective operation of The Salvation Army programs, including helping set up and take down the weekly food distribution. Duties Include:Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility as assigned by Corps Officers. This will include all mirrors, doors, windows, floors, ceilings, walls, vacuuming, dusting, tables, chairs, and restrooms. In addition, there will be annual items for cleaning (grease traps, kitchen fans, etc.)Assist with the ordering and resupplying of necessary products throughout the facility. Empty trash and clean receptacles as needed. Remove all trash to the dumpster daily. Help to maintain outdoor areas as directed, to include shoveling of snow, trimming of grass, weeding, and litter removal. Maintain clean and orderly supply closets. Replace light bulbs as directed.
