Position Type: Parks and Facilities/Custodian - Part Time Date Posted: 8/1/2025 Location: Simkus and Fountain View Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: When filled Salary & Benefits: - Starting at $16.00/hour - $17.00/hour - Complimentary Fitness Center and Coral Cove Water Park membership, two Coyote Crossing Mini Golf Passes, recognition awards, and social activities. Days & Hours: - Part-time position (employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year). - Saturdays and Sundays: various shifts between 7:00pm - 2:00am. Job Requirements The Carol Stream Park District is currently looking for individuals who can work independently with little or no supervision and who will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of our indoor facilities. Our custodial staff provides general janitorial and light maintenance for all of our Park District Facilities. Duties include cleaning offices, locker rooms and restrooms (as well as other areas of our facilities), room setups, and breakdowns. Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Previous custodial/building maintenance experience preferred, but not required. - Ability to work with minimum supervision. - Self-motivator and willingness to perform various tasks. - Must successfully pass a background check. - Minimum Age: 18
