Custodial Worker - City of Newport Oregon : Job Details

The City of Newport is seeking a professional and dedicated individual to perform a wide range of custodial duties in city-owned restrooms and trash receptacles located at our recreation centers. Qualifications MINIMUM/ MANDATORY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties as, described. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be a high school diploma or equivalency, and six months related experience. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of custodial tasks and duties. Proper use and storage of chemicals, including OSHA Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for hazardous chemicals used in the workplace. SKILLS: Skill in the use of janitorial equipment.
