Cushion Filler - Bernhardt Furniture : Job Details

Bernhardt Design Division is looking for a Cushion Filler / Upholstery Stager at Plant 7 (Morganton Blvd.) in Lenoir, NCPrimary Responsibilities:

• Fill sewn covers and casings with cushions and backs using a cushion machine and by hand.
• Regulate all covers by hand to ensure cushions are filled accurately and appearance is in accordance with product standards.
• Clean and organize cushion department / area in order maintain an accurate inventory.
• Assist in staging for upholstery by matching the correct foam, cover & frame for production.
• Periodically assist in the unloading of trucks to ensure cushion department & production has correct supplies on-hand.

Preferred Experience & Skill Set:

• 2 years prior cushion filling experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast- paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication and time management skills.
• Willing to work overtime based on production & business needs.
