Bowdoin Colleges Peary-Mac. Millan Arctic Museum is dedicated entirely to all things Arctic, particularly focusing on the explorations of Bowdoin graduates, Robert E. Peary (Class of 1877) and Donald B. Mac. Millan (Class of 1898). The museum houses a variety of exhibits that include artifacts from Arctic expeditions, historical documents, photographs, and Native Alaskan and Inuit materials. In addition, the museum offers insights into the scientific and environmental challenges of the region. The museum is a part of Bowdoins commitment to education and research in the Arctic and polar regions. The Cultural Property Security Officer for the Peary-Mac.
