Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and making salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to their dietary needs and portion specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and dining area.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines rigorously.
• Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Complete any other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in a food service or kitchen environment is advantageous but not required.
• Able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate openly with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory.
• Physical ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, with the capability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must perform routine and repetitive tasks continuously.
• Able to work in proximity to food and cleaning agents.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State/County law.
• Residency in the service area is required.
