Duration: 3 month contract (extensions or conversion likely)

Location: 16001 Butler, PA

Pay Rate: $50-65/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by the ARRT
  • Prior experience as a CT Technologist

Preferred Qualifications (Plusses):

  • Experience working specifically with GE-brand CT Scanners

Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to support a hospital system in Butler, PA, working primarily in the Emergency Department. The technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) examinations to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, working closely with radiologists and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Preparation & Identification
  • Collect patient and procedure information
  • Verify patient identity, physician orders, pregnancy status, and informed consent
  • Procedure Explanation & Communication
  • Clearly explain CT procedures to patients
  • Address patient concerns and answer questions
  • Screening & Assessment
  • Ensure proper screening protocols are followed
  • Assess patient readiness and evaluate contraindications or abnormal lab values
  • Contrast Administration
  • Select and administer appropriate contrast material
  • Obtain patient consent and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Imaging Execution
  • Prepare imaging site using sterile technique
  • Start IVs, acquire and reformat diagnostic images, and send studies to PACS
  • Documentation & Records Management
  • Accurately document clinical history, procedure notes, and any exceptions
  • Manage imaging data and reports in RIS and PACS
  • Additional Duties
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the department or supervisor
