$20,000 Sign on bonus may be available for qualified candidates - - Competitive Wages - - Benefit package for eligible employees - This position assists the radiologist and other physicians with high quality, computerized tomographic and radiographic images required in part for the diagnosis and treatment of patients while ensuring the least amount of radiation exposure to oneself and the patient. Provides general care to the patient while in the department. Responsibilities (35%) - Performs computer tomography studies following protocol. Is able to differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy and will tailor exams in accordance with patient history obtained, protocol, and Radiologist instruction. (30%) - Administers IV and oral contrast as required for procedures according to protocols. Follows departmental protocol and institution guidelines for delivery of IV contrast material.
