Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology team in Johnson City, NY. This role focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and responsive CT imaging services, with a strong commitment to safety and patient care. The CT Technologist will work collaboratively with referring physicians and radiologists, ensuring high-quality diagnostic outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
• NYS Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH)
• ARRT(R) Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
• NYS Injection Certification (Preferred)
• ARRT CT Registration (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT procedures as ordered by referring physicians.
• Follow all hospital policies related to safety, patient confidentiality, and incident reporting.
• Demonstrate radiation safety practices for both patients and staff.
• Educate patients on procedure preparation and what to expect during scans.
• Maintain effective communication with physicians and radiology team members.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of imaging services.
• Adhere to clinical principles, methods, and protocols in the performance of all CT procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and other healthcare team members.
• Participate in Radiology Management System tasks related to patient workflow and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
