Funds Counsel – Private Investment Funds (Crypto Focus)

A leading digital asset investment firm is seeking a Funds Counsel to join its legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional fund formation and cutting-edge crypto investing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support open-ended fund formation and structuring, including drafting and negotiating fund documentation (PPMs, LPAs, subscription documents, etc.).
• Advise on crypto-native investment strategies, including DeFi, token investments, and blockchain infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, compliance, and operations teams to ensure legal coverage across fund lifecycle.
• Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory frameworks impacting digital assets and investment vehicles.

Ideal Candidate:

• 3–7 years of experience in fund formation, preferably at a top-tier law firm or in-house at an investment manager.
• Strong working knowledge of open-ended fund structures (e.g., hedge funds, liquid strategies).
• Demonstrated interest or experience in crypto and digital assets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
