Rango Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an EXPERIENCED Superintendent - Crushing - to join our team. Rango Inc. is a rapidly growing company in the contract mining services industry. Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for managing and directing site operations for the crush/convey:

  • Ensure continued operations with component removal, repair and installation of jaw and gyratory crushers, vibratory screens, conveyors, dust suppression/collection systems, mobile conveying systems, etc.
  • Maintain the crushing department throughout Arizona.
  • Responsible for purchase orders and maintenance work orders in your specific area.
  • Manage employee time and attendance.
  • Responsible for employee compliance with all department operating policies, procedures, and safety rules
  • Responsible for coordinating communication and directives with labor force, Company personnel, and management
  • Supervise, coach, train, and administer discipline to assigned personnel
  • Assure the safety of personnel through compliance with MSHA regulations
  • Review, approve and prioritize work requests for mechanical repairs and all safety and work permits
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be considered.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Requires 3-5 years of crushing experience.
  • Experience with civil, mining equipment, and mass excavation
  • Strong experience with maintenance software programs, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, delegation skills, and strong organizational capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills and communication with reports, peers, management, and clients
  • Ability to form and foster collaborative relationships within the Company, customers and suppliers.
  • Commitment to teach and train others
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground
