Job Title: Crisis WorkerReports to: Crisis Program ManagerJob Status: Non-exempt, Hourly, Part-time & Full-TimeSTATEMENT OF THE JOBProvides information, referral services, and crisis intervention services by phone and electronically to the public and community professionals 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides support and consultation to shift team partnersProvides and supports triage and routing functions on shift per the team's goalsProvides complete, accurate documentation of client contactsEnsure that client rights and confidentiality are maintainedCollaborates with other program staff to assure client access to emergency assistanceFollow-up with imminent risk clientsConduct accurate assessments of suicide and other emergenciesResponsible for staying current with all ongoing training requirements for both servicesAssists with community outreach activities as assigned by the management teamActively involved with agency programs and eventsSupports operations during times of disaster as defined by agency policyMaintains up to date knowledge of agency processes and policies & proceduresPerforms all other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma and experience with human services preferred. Successful completion of Basic Crisis Intervention training and Crisis Management training is required (provided by Gryphon Place).
