Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a Crime Prevention Technician who is innovative, driven, and passionate about using crime prevention techniques to solve problems and achieve business goals. The Crime Prevention Technician reports to a Police Sergeant. The primary function of the position is to develop, implement, coordinate and promote crime prevention methods to civic organizations, businesses and residents. The position also provides assistance by presenting the program and serving as a resource to improve public safety and address safety concerns. Some of the essential duties and responsibilities include:Designs, administers and manages public safety and community outreach programs.
