Creditors Rights Associate (3-5+ years) Garden City Office - Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP : Job Details

We are seeking a mid-level associate with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience to join our Creditors Rights, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice Group. Candidates should have:

• Substantive experience drafting complaints and motions
• Appearing in federal, state and bankruptcy courts
• Negotiating settlements
• Corresponding with opposing counsel and clients
• Experience in bankruptcy and creditors rights law preferred, including collateral repossession, the Uniform Commercial Code (Articles 2, 2A and 9 in particular), equipment leasing, commercial real estate foreclosure and commercial finance law.

The salary for this position will range from $140,000 to $160,000 annually, based upon experience.
