Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the loan origination function; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information. Essential Duties 1. Performs a variety of duties to support the loan origination function of which the following are illustrative:a. Underwrites new loan applications in accordance with the Banks lending policy.b. Coordinates the receipt of supporting documentation for new loan applicationsc. Prepares and sends appropriate disclosures as required by appropriate regulations.d. Verifies data as required by the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.e. Maintains required information and notifies appropriate personnel of credit information deficiencies as appropriate.f. Prepares adverse action letters for declined loans.g.
