The team is tasked with managing the credit risk associated with Deutsche Bank's securitization financing activities in the US. Credit officers are responsible for analysis and approval of securitization transactions, setting and monitoring facility limits, negotiating credit terms with the responsible Business line, ongoing risk monitoring and stress testing of exposures. This position will help oversee and credit risk manage the ABS (Asset Backed Securities) / Asset Finance Business.What You'll DoSupport the review and credit approval of securitized warehouse lending facilities secured by various ABS asset classes, including but not limited to residential mortgages, consumer loans, commercial leases and digital infrastructure assets, ensuring exposures are consistent with Bank's risk appetiteWork with 1LoD to ensure transactions are appropriately structured with adequate risk mitigation to address relevant adverse scenariosAnalyze the quality of underlying collateral, considering factors such as credit rating, strength of counterparty, industry trends and macroeconomic conditions are appropriately accounted forStay informed about market trends and conditions that may impact the performance of securitized assets, helping to anticipate and mitigate potential risksPrepare detailed credit memos for approval with the relevant approvers and, where appropriate, present at relevant credit committeesParticipate in broader projects and initiatives, including portfolio monitoring, stress testing and regulatory / audit requestsHow You'll LeadBuild relationships with 1LoD colleagues, challenging assumptions while providing constructive feedbackCommunicate credit views to senior management and help mentor and manage junior staffLead responses and discussions related to audit and regulatory inquiriesSkills You'll NeedCredit risk management knowledge including experience with ABS structuresGood analytical skills with attention to detail, ability to explain potentially complex and nuanced transaction structures to the relevant stakeholdersAbility to evaluate cash flow models used to structure transactionsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldsSkills That Will Help You ExcelAbility to work independently and under time pressureExperience with securitization structures, involving non-traditional asset classes and related rating agency methodologiesStrong analytical skills paired with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information in a structured, clear, and concise wayExpectationsIt is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the ____ office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.The salary range for this position in New York is $125,000 to $203,000.
