Job Description: A Credit Card Specialist is responsible for a variety of support functions within the Credit Card department, aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness while improving the overall customer experience. This role involves processing payment transactions, handling exceptions, conducting research, performing maintenance, and providing support to both employees and customers. Qualifications: This person should have an Associate's degree and at least two year of related work experience, or the equivalent. They must demonstrate excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Additionally, the candidate should be highly organized, capable of maintaining confidentiality, and exercising discretionary judgment. An aptitude for detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines are also essential. Principle Responsibilities:
  • Process credit card applications, payments, and maintenance requests with accuracy, while maintaining solid relationships with underwriters.
  • Assist employees and customers by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries about credit card products and services. Ensure issues are escalated in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Help with project-related work and collect data for audits and examinations.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives to contribute to process improvements, operational efficiencies, and superior customer service.
  • Embrace and practice the Be the 1 principles and contribute to and support Operational programs.
  • Actively pursue developmental opportunities as discussed in one-on-ones and/or annual performance reviews.
  • Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
  • Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance.
