Credit Analyst - The LaSalle Network : Job Details

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the financial status and creditworthiness of clients, analyzing credit data and preparing financial reports to assist in decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to provide clear and concise recommendations to management.

Credit Analyst Responsibilities:

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess the risk of granting loans or extending credit
• Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to senior management
• Monitor customer accounts for potential risks or changes in creditworthiness
• Collaborate with sales, risk management and other departments to ensure alignment on credit decisions
• Recommend risk mitigation strategies based on credit analysis
• Maintain accurate credit files and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Review and analyze client payment history to determine future credit limits
• Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies

Credit Analyst Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis experience
• Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with credit scoring software is a plus
