Ultimate Staffing is proud to support a leading dermatology group in Wellington, FL, in their search for a Credentialing Specialist/Manager. This vital role ensures that all healthcare providers are properly credentialed and compliant with regulatory and internal standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing credentialing processes within a healthcare setting.

Credentialing Specialist/Manager Location: Wellington, FL

Credentialing Specialist/Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of provider credentialing and re-credentialing to ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal regulations.
  • Complete and submit credentialing applications and supporting documentation accurately and on time.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in provider documentation and credentialing data.
  • Process privilege requests and maintain accurate records of provider privileges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for credentialing inquiries from internal teams and external healthcare organizations.
  • Monitor and manage initial credentialing, reappointments, and expirables to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
  • Review and analyze provider applications for eligibility and completeness.
  • Prepare credentialing files for review and approval by the Credentialing Manager.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation of all credentialing activities.
  • Prioritize daily workflow, manage assignments, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with contract acquisition and follow-up as needed.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and communicate clearly with team members to resolve credentialing challenges.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the credentialing department.

Credentialing Specialist/Manager Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in healthcare credentialing, preferably in a dermatology or multi-specialty group setting.
  • Strong understanding of credentialing regulations and standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills and ExperienceProven experience in healthcare credentialing, preferably in a dermatology or multi-specialty group setting.Strong understanding of credentialing regulations and standards.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency in credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
