Credentialing Coordinator (Hybrid)
Location: New York, NY 10017
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hybrid (2 days onsite required – Thursdays mandatory)
- Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract – Possibility of Extension)
- Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00/hour (Weekly Pay)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Coordinator to join our healthcare team in New York, NY. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with facilities and provider sites to collect and coordinate credentialing/re-credentialing documentation
- Perform primary source verifications according to regulatory standards
- Maintain and update provider information in credentialing databases
- Review and prepare complete credentialing files for Credentialing Committee review
- Verify provider licenses (NYS), DEA registration, OPMC, Medicare/Medicaid sanctions, and other regulatory elements
- Generate and share monthly provider credentialing updates and rosters with internal departments and external partners
- Respond to credentialing information requests and manage credentialing documentation
- File and maintain provider credentialing folders and ensure confidentiality
- Reconcile provider rosters across delegated and contracted facilities

Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with provider credentialing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Healthcare credentialing policies
- Experience with CACTUS credentialing software

- Hybrid schedule based in New York, NY 10017
- Must be available onsite Thursdays + 1 additional day per week
