We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead the creative development for Shark Beauty (Haircare & Skincare), crafting compelling product stories that resonate across packaging, digital platforms, social media, and more.

Role Overview

As the Creative Director for Shark Beauty, you will shape and execute the creative vision for the brand across both Haircare and Skincare categories. You will lead the development of product propositions, oversee packaging design, drive digital and social upper-funnel campaigns, and craft product narratives that captivate our audience. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, hands-on creative leadership, and a deep understanding of storytelling across all consumer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision: Develop and maintain a cohesive creative strategy that aligns with Shark Beautys brand and product values and business goals.
• Translate product features and benefits into compelling propositions that differentiate Shark Beauty in the market.
• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, including designers, copywriters, and external partners.
• Ensure all creative work defines Shark Beauty as a leading brand within the beauty category and maintains a clear and consistent tone and look across channels.
• Product Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that showcase the innovation and benefits of Shark Beauty products. Work collaboratively with Product Development, Engineering, CI and Marketing teams to communicate product stories effectively across consumer touchpoints.
• Iterate and pivot throughout the creative process to ensure final work delivers a high return on creative spend (HROS).
• Packaging Design: Oversee the design and development of innovative, functional, and visually appealing packaging that aligns with the product story and brand aesthetics.
• Digital & Social Campaigns: Drive upper-funnel digital and social content, including paid media, organic campaigns, and influencer collaborations. Leverage consumer insights to create engaging and shareable content that builds product awareness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure creative initiatives support overall business objectives.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and other creative vendors.
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity and impact are valued.

Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within beauty, consumer products, or lifestyle brands.
• Proven expertise in product storytelling, packaging design, and digital/social campaigns.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful creative work.
• Deep understanding of beauty consumer trends, digital platforms, and upper-funnel marketing strategies.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate creative teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to stakeholders.
• Highly collaborative and adaptable, with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to execution.
• Proficiency in creative tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with emerging technologies and platforms.

Salary & Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Pay Range: $161,000 - $232,000 USD
