The mission of this group is to deliver value through Design practice to arenas such as CX, Digital Transformation, process and organizational design, and product design. The group is committed to delivery of world-class products and experiences, to deliver value and differentiate Citco's services to our global customer base.CXD will champion and resource Design practice to deliver sustainable competitive advantage to Citco.The Creative Director role is a newly created position to drive strategic impact of Design through creative direction of digital projects, aligned to brand strategy and objectives. The Creative Director will drive the evolution of Citco's visual identity in digital experiences through cutting-edge practice and engage with executive stakeholders in customer-facing innovation projects. This perspective complements Citco's commitment to user-centered Design, with a focus on visual impact, and expression of the brand, and will partner with CX, marketing and branding leadership. In addition, the Creative Director will engage across Citco business lines and service offerings to explore opportunities for creative impact.The creation of the role marks a unique opportunity to contribute to a comprehensive refresh of Citco's Design System and UX strategy. The role includes delivery to individual projects and creative oversight across a program of projects.The position is based in Toronto and may require some international travel to other Citco locations. This position reports to the Director of Design in Toronto, as a core member of global Design leadership. The successful candidate will interact with CX leadership, business stakeholders, customers, marketing, and technology groups.ResponsibilitiesYour Role

• You will oversee creative process and output in digital experience projects
• Drive expression of brand and visual identity through Citco's emerging design system, considering alignment to brand strategy, emerging UI trends and practice
• Engage with senior and executive stakeholders in customer innovation and strategy exploration
• Incorporate visual and aesthetic concerns in Citco's Design process framework, including Design reviews and impact metrics
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, executive management, Marketing, Product, IT, business, and cross-functional team members to solve user needs
• Oversee and mentor individual Designers, development of Design capabilities in the group
• Advocate for usability, design and innovation in the organization

QualificationsAbout YouGeneral

• You are passionate about delivering value through Design, and the impact of creative excellence
• Practiced in senior stakeholder and customer collaboration and partnership
• Experienced in developing materials in multiple mediums such as digital, video and print
• Ready to help build a great design group: strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to navigate a dynamic cross-functional environment
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, or equivalent Experience

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in creative design roles, with supporting portfolio
• UX fundamentals: research, prototyping, usability testing
• Experience in usage of design systems to drive coherent design practices in the enterprise
• Beneficial: financial systems or asset management domain experience

Salary range: $ 185,000 - $ 255,000Our BenefitsYour well-being is of paramount importance and central to our success here at Citco.
