*Job Summary**Job Title: Creative Assistant**Reports to:* Director of Communications & Marketing*Location:* Mount Saint Francis, Indiana*Employment Type:* Full-Time*Position Overview*The Creative Assistant plays a key supporting role in advancing our brand, mission, and message through compelling multimedia storytelling. This position supports the Communications & Marketing team by helping organize digital assets, creating original content (photo, video, and copy), and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented and creative with a passion for mission-driven work.*Key Responsibilities**Content Creation & Media Production** Assist in developing content for digital and print campaigns, including social media, newsletters, websites, direct mail, and event materials* Capture and edit photos and videos for use across platforms* Create short-form video content for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts)* Support post-production, including audio editing, closed captioning, and visual branding*Copywriting & Editorial Support** Write and edit clear, engaging copy for social media, email campaigns, donor communications, and promotional materials* Help proofread and fact-check written content across departments* Adapt messaging for different audiences while maintaining brand tone and voice*Digital Asset Management** Organize and maintain a growing archive of photos, videos, design files, and branded materials* Tag and catalog files for easy search and access using shared cloud-based systems* Assist in implementing naming conventions and folder structure updates across projects*Brand & Project Support** Ensure visual and verbal consistency across platforms, using established branding guidelines* Support the execution of creative campaigns and cross-departmental projects* Help manage timelines, gather assets, and coordinate materials for creative initiatives*Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and InDesign) or other relevant design and editing tools* Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and storytelling* Experience managing files within cloud systems like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive* Familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics is a plus* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, creative team* Passion for mission-based or nonprofit work is a strong plus*Work Environment*You'll get to work on the beautiful Mount Saint Francis campus, surrounded by nature and a rich spiritual and artistic legacy. This role may include occasional travel, weekend or evening hours for events and photo/video shoots.*Salary and Benefits:*This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $45,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
