The role you'll contribute: This manager role is a board-certified music therapist who supports the Integrative & Creative Arts Therapies Director and the overall operations of the Integrative & Creative Arts Therapies team. Evaluates physical, spiritual, socio-emotional, and neurological needs of patients and provides appropriate interventions to meet such needs. Demonstrates creativity and critical thinking skills, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The Integrative & Creative Arts Therapies Manager is skilled in leading and coaching a team of creative arts therapists in the delivery of services to our patients and families. Works with multidisciplinary team members to support the different units we provide service to, delegates tasks, supports and advocates professional development of staff members with continued education and maintenance of professional competencies. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Abides by all aspects of the department according to the philosophy, policies, procedures, and objectives of the hospital and units of responsibility. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
